An article base on typical Korea/Japan corporate cultural
Worker had an average of 2.2 drinking parties per week (How they still manage to crawl to office the next day?)
They also had overtime duties 2.3 times a week, which last for three hours on average. (So 2.2+2.3=4.6... They OT/out for drink 4.6 time a week on average!)
Company drinking parties in Korea (Japan as well) are rather regarded as a prolongation of teamwork and therefore a social must rather than an entertainment option.(Agree, it will be a social MUST else one might be isolate politically.. Chiaamm leh.. nowaday we worker not only gotta perform in work but also become social escort after work.... *Ji Pai Tan*)
